Andrew is a dual Canadian/British national having been born in Canada and raised in England. Andrew studied Electronics Engineering and Radio Communications whilst serving in the British Army. His 37 years’ experience in the Defence and Aerospace industry includes Management positions with the Royal Corps of Signals, BAe Systems, GEC Marconi Sensor Systems, and CMC Electronics Inc. Andrew is now President and Founder of Phaleron Inc., a Defence and Aerospace Marketing Consultancy
Andrew is an International Sales and Marketing professional with a background in Defence and Commercial Aviation with a large customer base that extends across aircraft OEM’s, Systems Integrators and Defence/Commercial Aviation clients and has achieved many successes in his career, notably winning major avionics and cockpit upgrade orders in the Defence and Commercial Aviation sectors to over $500M with experience of working in Europe, North America, Africa, India, and the Middle East. Andrew has also enjoyed Management roles in Customer Support, Engineering, Project Management and Trials Management during his career.
Having 27 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, Business Development and Key Account Management roles, Andrew is well versed in the development and implementation of Strategic Planning, Territory Planning, Business Plans, and all Marketing processes. He has extensive experience working with Commercial Airlines, Business Jet operators, MRO facilities and providing valuable assistance with Compliance, Manuals and Technical Documentation, recommendations of for equipment & suppliers, acquiring spare parts, aircraft for buy or lease, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and airport support services
